After the successful launch of peer.me as web service TENIOS starts with a Android mobile app for secure and private communications.
Following the motto “private remains private” operates the Cologne-based TENIOS GmbH since early 2015 the secure platform peer.me for telephony, chat, video and data transfer based on WebRTC. Today tenios introduces peer.me also a messenger app for Android devices.Nach dem erfolgreichen Launch von peer.me als Web-Version startet nun die neue Android Mobile App Version für sichere und private Kommunikation.
With the new app peer.me puts new standards among the messenger apps. Communications between mobile devices is encrypted using DTLS STRP. The transmission of telephony, chat, video and data carried out directly via the peer-to-peer connection between the devices. There is no access to contact details and user information on the mobile device. All data is stored locally on the device and will not forward to a central server.
peer.me is free for all Android smart phone and tablet users. Installation is done easily via the Google Play Store. For registration only a valid e-mail address is required. Users can follow the progress of the beta version at http://peer.me and participate with feedback and in discussions.
