In this article you find information on how to integrate Google Cloud Text-to-Speech into your call routing.
For the setting configurations in Google Cloud and in TENIOS customer portal please follow our step-by-step instruction.
Configuration of Google Cloud Speech-to-Text
Please open the link for login at Google Cloud platform. If you don’t have an account yet, you can choose between different subscriptions – there is also a free version available.
Afterwards you will be redirected to an overview page. Please click the dropdown menu next to the Google Cloud lettering. Click “New Projekt” to create a project.
A popup window is opened. Please fill in Project name and Project ID. You can edit the ID by clicking the button below. The ID cannot be edited later on. Choose the Location and click “Create“.
You are redirected to the overview page of your new project. Please click the menu item “API & Services” after opening the dropdown menu on the left.
Click the button “Enable APIs and Services“.
A window with a search bar is opened. Please type Speech in order to find the “Cloud Speech-to-Text API“.
Please click “Activate“.
Im nächsten Schritt können Sie den Schlüssel konfigurieren. Klicken Sie hierzu links auf den Reiter “Anmeldedaten“. Öffnen Sie das Dropdown Menü “+ Anmeldedaten erstellen” und wählen Sie “Dienstkonto“.
Please select Name and Description and click “Create“.
As Role please select “Owner“, click “Continue” and in the next step the button “Done“.
Now you can open your Service Account (IAM & Admin > Service Accounts) to create a credential key. By clicking “Add Key” a popup window is opened. Please choose the type “JSON” .
Store the JSON-file on your computer. This key is needed for the ASR configuration in the TENIOS customer portal.
Configuration in TENIOS portal
Login on the TENIOS platform to connect the speech service. Navigate to “Setup > ASR Provider Configurations” and click “+ Add new configuration”.
Now you can edit the ASR Provider Confiurations. Please select “Google” as Provider. Fill in the Credential Key created in your Google Cloud account. Click Save to complete the configuration.
